Couple's hyperrealistic 'Stranger Things' Halloween decorations stuns TikTok: 'Amazing'

A horror prop-making family is paying homage to Netflix’s Stranger Things.

Chicago-based couple Dave and Aubrey celebrate Halloween by going all out with decorations. This year they took inspiration from Vecna, Max and other elements from the Stranger Things universe — and they did not hold back. The pair made gravity-defying props and recreations that have TikTokers begging to know how they pulled it all off.

Watch this Brooklyn bedroom go from drab to fabulous in one day:

Aubrey and Dave first went viral in September when they shared a video of Max suspended in midair as Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” played.

A video from a different angle showed how elaborate the setup really was. The camera shot from underneath the Max replica, which only added to the mystery of how the prop appeared to float.

“Maybe a wire running from the roof to a tree that’s out of the picture?” someone guessed.

“I’ve now spent too many hours trying to figure this out. You all are amazing and I hope you don’t share a tutorial until next year…make us wait,” another said.

“There’s clearly a string connected to a satellite in outer space. How don’t y’all know this?” a TikToker joked.

The couple also made Vecna’s chair out of what looked like foam and pool noodles.

They even dressed up their lawn to look like the Upside Down — spooky ticking clock included.
