SARAH HARTONG: The future of equity in the workplace is about inclusion and it is about choice.
To me, inclusion is the table stakes. We have to build cultures that are not just welcoming of all but that make space for all, that celebrate all, that listen to the voices that seek out, voices that may not be otherwise heard. And make sure that it's not just a place where you can be, but where you can thrive. And I think choice is the other future of equity where we build paths for women and for any underserved communities that have choice and how their career unfolds, has choice in how they show up, have choice in the way that they advance and grow, and are ultimately supported in whatever choice they might make.
