Things Looks Bleak for Ben Affleck in Intense New 'Batman v Superman' Teaser

Warner Bros. released a new, cryptic teaser for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on Monday, and things do not look good for the Caped Crusader.

Set in what looks like a military bunker in the middle of a desert, the menacing teaser opens up on a chained-up Batman (Ben Affleck) looking around at his bleak surroundings with an unnerving terror in his eyes.

Suddenly, Superman (Henry Cavill) drops down and obedient soldiers bow down before him as he angrily strides toward the Dark Knight and rips off his rubber mask, revealing his true identity -- and that's all we get to see from this brief glimpse!

The circumstances surrounding Batman's capture -- or Superman's seemingly villainous persona -- are unknown, but one thing's for sure: This showdown doesn't look like it's going very well for the unmasked vigilante.
