Before you plan your next garage sale, take a close look at what's in your attic or basement.
If you’ve taken on the big task of decluttering your house, you’re not alone. According to a report by the National Cleaning Survey, a record-high 77 percent of households will spring clean. It’s not surprising, as many of us spent a few months at home with extra time on our hands taking on some serious in-home upkeep. If you haven’t tackled those boxes in your attic or basement, it’s not too late. We get it, the majority might be full of old family photos, old clothes, and old electronics. But imagine if there’s something special lurking in those piles. So before you unload your attic or basement for a garage sale, list them on Facebook Marketplace for a few bucks, or drop them at a donation center, do your research. It won’t take any longer than a simple Internet search to decide if you should donate something or try to sell it. You never know, your old doll or grandmother’s Pyrex may just put a nice surprise in your wallet. Take a look at this list and see if anything looks familiar!
