The Very, Very Weird Coincidence From The New Adam Sandler Movie

Max Kessler is a dead ringer for Adam Sandler.

Which must bring with it its own problems, but now he’s got another bizarrely coincidental issue to contend with.

The thing is, in his new movie ‘The Do-Over’, Adam Sandler is playing a character called…. Max Kessler.

The chap from Massachusetts posted a shot of himself on Reddit, and he does indeed look like a young Sandler.

Some were not 100% convinced – until he dropped in a picture of his driver’s licence too, which appeared to confirm things.

The new movie finds Sandler playing Kessler, alongside David Spade’s Charlie, as two old school friends who reunite after years apart.

After a whirlwind reacquaintance, Kessler fakes their deaths, after Charlie expresses the wish to have another crack at remaking his crappy life.

But obviously things go rather badly wrong.

It’s the latest in a series of movies Sandler is knocking out in a deal with Netflix, the first having been the spoof western 'The Ridiculous 6’.

It’s due out on May 27.
