Dawn, is that you?
Actress Lucy Davis was snapped on the set of the new ‘Wonder Woman’ movie yesterday, as the production took over Trafalgar Square.
But with her vivid ginger wig and period costume, she was virtually unrecognisable as the love-lorn receptionist from Ricky Gervais’s 'The Office’, the series which made her name.
She plays Etta Candy in the movie, best friend to Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince, the Amazonian princess and immortal demi-goddess. (Oh, and daughter of Zeus).
The whole of the central London square was closed down for five hours and decked out in old fashioned bunting, Union flags and posters hailing the end of 'the Great War’.
The film is set in World War One, with vintage cars also doing the rounds on the Armistice Day celebration.
So far we’ve had just one teaser for the upcoming DC movie, but thus far the plot is being kept under wraps.
Also starring are Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman’s love interest and Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Wonder Woman’s mother.
There are also roles for Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremer, Saïd Taghmaoui and Elena Anaya.
It’s due out on June 23, 2017.
But we’ll get some Wonder Woman action in before that – Gadot will debut her character in 'Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’, due out on March 25.
