Here's What the Terminator Sounds Like Voicing the Waze App (Exclusive)

“I’ll be back… in an estimated 37 minutes.”

In a joint promotion between Paramount and the popular GPS app Waze, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be directing drivers around their respective towns in character as the Terminator (the former Governator’s next man vs. machine sequel, Terminator Genisys, hits theaters July 1). You can get a taste for the Terminator’s navigational skills in the exclusive video of Schwarzenegger recording for Waze above.

Waze users can incorporate the Terminator into your daily commute free of charge by clicking Settings -> Sound -> Voice Language. The app will also incorporate a new branded icon — a red-eyed Endoskull — to denote movie theaters showing Terminator Genisys.

As with similar GPS promotions of the past, which have included Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg, you shouldn’t expect the celebrity voicing to get too specific. It’s not like they recorded the name of every street in America, which is a shame for those of us here in Los Angles who would drive up and down roads like Cahuenga or Sepulveda just to hear Arnold say it over and over again.
