Teens just say yes to drugs in the trailer for new dark thriller 'Thumper' (exclusive)

Don’t expect any animated rabbits to appear in Thumper. This is no Bambi spinoff, and there will be things said that aren’t nice.

The new thriller, written and directed by Jordan Ross (MTV’s True Life), follows the dark and unsavory exploits of a pair of teens in a low-income neighborhood where drugs rule everything around them. (Watch the exclusive trailer above.)

There’s Kat (Eliza Taylor), the outgoing new girl in town with blonde-pink hair, who’s on the prowl for something stronger than stems and seeds. She links up with the vulnerable Beaver (Daniel Webber), who helps her make a score.

The pair soon become dangerously indebted to local kingpin Wyatt (Pablo Schreiber) — but not all, inevitably, is as it seems.

Thumper, which premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, also stars Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), Grant Harvey, and Ben Feldman.

Thumper opens Nov. 7.
