Yahoo Movies Ted Lasso's Brett Goldstein lands Netflix rom-com with Jennifer Lopez
Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein has landed a new role opposite Jennifer Lopez.
Goldstein has signed on to star with Lopez in rom-com Office Romance, which Netflix has picked up.
Deadline reports that Goldstein is co-writing the film alongside Joe Kelly, with "several great character actor roles" in the script.

In July, Goldstein was announced as starring in Kornél Mundruczó's upcoming drama At the Sea.
At the Sea also stars Oscar winner Amy Adams (Arrival), along with Murray Bartlett (The Last of Us), Chloe East (The Fabelmans), Daniel Levy (Schitt's Creek), Jenny Slate (Parks and Recreation) and Rainn Wilson (The Office).
At the Sea revolves around Adams' Laura, who returns to her family at their holiday beach home after a long rehabilitation.

The film's synopsis continues: "There, she must readjust to the complicated life she left behind and face the next chapter without the career that gave her fame, fortune and, most importantly, identity."
Goldstein also recently premiered another new movie, All of You, at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The film stars Goldstein alongside Outer Range's Imogen Poots, with William Bridges directing. It has been touted as a "stirring new-futuristic drama".

The pair play best friends who "harbour an unspoken love for one another, even after a test matches one of them up with their supposed soulmate".
Lopez has become a big hitter for Netflix, with her most recent two outings – The Mother and Atlas – bringing in 136.4 million global views and 73 million global views, respectively.
The Mother has become one of Netflix's 10 most-watched movies of all time and was its most-watched movie of 2023.
