Teacher brought to tears when students surprise him with birthday party

When a teacher told his students he didn’t remember the last time he had a birthday cake, what happened next brought him to tears.

Twitter user @Saeya8 recently shared a sweet video of her teacher, Mr. Simpler, completely taken back by the surprise party his students threw in his classroom.

“I had no clue,” Mr. Simpler said in a second video shared on Twitter.

As he walks through the door, the teacher is greeted by a decorated classroom and students singing, ‘Happy Birthday,’ before one student hands him a present.

Mr.Simpler barely walks over to his desk without shedding some tears and there waiting for him is his birthday cake.

“We did it for him,” @Saeya8 wrote about kind-hearted gesture to her teacher, which has received tons of love on social media.
