TCU football has been hot on the recruiting trail; men’s hoops to face Sweet 16 team
The TCU football team has found success on the recruiting trail within the last week.
The Horned Frogs landed a commitment from offensive lineman and Arizona State transfer Ezra Dotson-Oyetade on Wednesday. Dotson-Oyetade brings much-needed depth to the O-line corps and is expected to push for playing time immediately.
Dotson-Oyetade, who is listed at 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, was a backup center for Arizona State during spring camp. He was a four-star prospect coming out of Garland Lakeview Centennial in the 2021 class.
Dotson-Oyetade’s commitment came a few days after TCU landed a re-commitment from Cordale Russell, who is a highly touted receiver in the 2023 class out of North Mesquite.
Russell, who goes by the nickname “Baby T.O.” after former NFL standout Terrell Owens, rejoined the Frogs’ 2023 class after decommitting in early February. As a junior last season, Russell had 21 catches for 317 yards and four TDs.
