TCU football: New coach Sonny Dykes and staff land another four-star recruit

TCU football landed another four-star commitment on Saturday.

Garland safety Chace Biddle announced his intentions to play for new coach Sonny Dykes and his staff. Biddle was previously committed to SMU but decommitted once Dykes left for TCU.

Biddle is the second four-star commit for the 2022 class, joining his Garland teammate and wide receiver Jordan Hudson. The Frogs have also received a commitment from 2023 four-star WR Cordale Russell of North Mesquite since Dykes took over.

Biddle also had offers from schools including SMU, Alabama, Arizona and Arkansas.

Biddle, who is listed at 6-foot, 190 pounds, is ranked as the nation’s No. 11 safety by 247Sports. He had 33 tackles and three interceptions his senior season, and is one of the fastest safeties in the country running a 10.7-second 100-meter as a sophomore.

TCU has the 95th-ranked class in the country and the 10th-ranked in the 10-team Big 12, according to 247Sports.

Along with Biddle and Hudson, other commitments include Mansfield Summit defensive lineman Joseph Adedire, Amarillo Tascosa running back Major Everhart and Monroe (Louisiana) Neville running back Ajay Allen.
