You know that feeling when you casually and unexpectedly get to add 'choreographer for the Eras Tour' to your resume? No? Because that's not a thing that just casually and unexpectedly happens to people in our world?

That's a very logical and rational thing for you to think, but it turns out, the world is a little less bleak and sad than we all believed because unexpectedly becoming a choreographer for the Eras Tour is a thing that actually happened to one Taylor Swift fan.

That fan is Mikael Arellano, who made waves on Swiftie TikTok last winter when he posted this very simple (but also perfect) bit of 'Bejeweled choreography:

The video promptly and rightly went viral (it's been viewed 6.3 million times as of this writing) and spawned a trend, with other Swifties recreating the choreography for their own Bejewelled Era moments.

Among the millions who saw Arellano's video and decided to recreate the dance: Swift herself, who broke out the move during her performance of 'Bejeweled' on the opening night of the Eras Tour in Glendale, AZ.

The crowd instantly knew exactly what she was doing and reacted with an appropriate squeal decibel.

As for Arellano, he celebrated the kick off of the tour by posting an encore performance of his viral dance (from home):

Even though he wasn't able to attend opening night of the Eras Tour in person, it took news of the fact that Swift had done his 'Bejeweled' dance on stage essentially no time to make it back to him/take over his TikTok comments.

And his reaction to this news was:

When Taylor proved she knew exactly where the dance originated and was checking in on its creator after the show by liking that reaction post, he was all:

Now, let's all collectively enter our 'Starlight' Eras and dream impossible dreams because Swift is making an Eras Tour side hustle out of making internet pipe dreams come true, apparently.
