Yahoo Movies Tarek El Moussa Fiancée Heather Rae Young and Christina Haack Sent Each Other Mother's Day Gifts
On Sunday, many of our favorite HGTV stars took to Instagram to share sweet moments with their moms in honor of Mother's Day. A handful of HGTV dads also penned notes to the special women their children call mom. Here's a look at the messages Tarek El Moussa, Ben Napier, Jonathan Scott, and other stars from the network wrote.
Tarek El Moussa wishes his mom, Heather Rae Young, and Christina Haack a Happy Mother's Day
Tarek El Moussa shared some kind words about his mother, Dominique El Moussa: "Mom, you mean the world to me and something I love and admire is that not only have you been the best mom to me and my siblings but you’re a mom to everyone around you." The Flip or Flop star added that she has the "biggest heart,"
El Moussa also showed some love on Instagram for his fiancée, Heather Rae Young, who will soon become a stepmother to his children Taylor and Brayden. "I couldn’t have asked for a better woman to be Tay and Bray’s bonus mom… from the very beginning you have always put them and their needs first, and seeing your guys’ bond grow stronger and stronger over the years makes me the happiest man alive," he wrote.
Of course, he couldn't leave out ex-wife Christina Haack, with whom he shares Taylor and Brayden. El Moussa posted a photo of their children to his Instagram Stories and tagged Christina Haack. "Happy Mother's Day @christinahaack," he wrote, adding "we have some incredible kids ❤️hope you guys had fun." (Haack was with the kids for Mother's Day.)
Haack and Young also gifted each other flowers for the big day.
Ben Napier calls Erin his "better half"
Ben Napier showed some love to Erin on Instagram, too. In a photo of the couple in Wetumpka, the Home Town Takeover star recounted how difficult it was filming three shows simultaneously during a pandemic and how she never left his side (Home Town season 5, Home Town Takeover, and Ben's Workshop were all in production at the same time). "Happy Mother’s Day to my better half, and Helen’s favorite," he continued.

Joanna shared an adorable photo of her, her mom, Chip, and his mom. "We are forever grateful for their unending love, support, and grace. What a joy it was celebrating these two beautiful women today," she wrote in the caption.
Jonathan Scott says his mom always knows how to make him laugh
Jonathan Scott shared a series of photos to Instagram with his mother. "This lady…what can I say? Always ready for adventure, knows exactly what to say to make me laugh, and has always offered me unconditional love," he wrote. "I’ve missed you this past year and can’t wait to see you sometime soon... I’ll probably ugly cry," the Property Brothers star reckoned.
