Tanker Explodes in Northern Texas

A woman in Crowell, Texas, captured the dramatic moment a fuel tanker exploded on June 12.

The truck’s driver and multiple volunteer firefighters received minor injuries, local media reported citing Foard County Sheriff Mike Brown. Brown said the fire that sparked the explosion started due to a leak in the tanker.

In this footage by Jymi Ranjel, plumes of black smoke can be seen funnelling skyward from a large fire. Seconds later, an enormous explosion engulfs the area.
