Ecclestone had kept her pregnancy pretty quiet although there was some speculation she was expecting again.
She welcomed her new arrived in Switzerland late in September and her dad, former Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone, confirmed the lovely news to the MailOnline.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be a grandfather again,” he said, saying Serena was “a beautiful little thing”.
The 89-year-old became a new dad himself in July, when he and his wife Fabiana Flosi welcomed son Ace.
He told the Mail: “Serena and Ace are very close in age and so will be able to play together when they’re a little older.”
“She’s been talking about how much she wants a sibling, and for the first time I'm open to the idea,” she said.
"She really wants a sister, but certainly not a brother - she's very girlie and thinks boys are smelly."
