Talking Walls festival is back in Charlotte. Here’s how to see walls transform into art.

If the walls could talk — oh wait, in Charlotte, they do.

And thanks to Talking Walls, Charlotte’s annual mural festival, more beige walls will have things to say later this month.

The street art event returns for the fourth year the week of October 18-24, 2021. After a bleak time during the COVID-19 pandemic, the artists are here to spread joy in the Queen City, a news release stated.

This year’s theme is “High-Vis-City” — vibrancy, brilliancy and viscerality.

Eight muralists will participate from Charlotte, the region and around the world:

I can’t wait to see how their large-scale works will continue to impact our Charlotte communities. ”
