The outcry for a third and final movie in the ‘Hellboy’ trilogy has made itself heard ever since 2008′s ‘Hellboy II: The Golden Army’ made a minor dent a the box office, and now Ron Perlman has given fans a glimmer of hope. It’s clear del Toro’s vision for a trilogy conclusion is indeed epic - so much so it convinced Perlman to do a 180 on the idea - but that doesn’t mean we will ever actually get to see it. Neither instalment managed to boast huge profits during their cinema runs, which is why ‘Hellboy III’ is struggling to secure its financing.
