A rare sequel that equaled — or exceeded — its predecessor, Aliens marked its 30th anniversary last July with a cast reunion at San Diego Comic-Con. Yahoo Movies spent time with the full crew before they took the stage; during our discussion we had to ask how director James Cameron came up with those indelible lines uttered by Bill Paxton’s unhinged space marine Hudson. ...
James Cameron‘s first of four planned Avatar sequels is still two years away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t visit the film’s alien moon of Pandora much sooner. The brain trust behind Avatar is about to launch an immersive, interactive experience that aims to take fans inside James Cameron’s extraterrestrial world. Titled Avatar: Discover Pandora (and not to be confused with Walt Disney World’s planned Pandora-themed land or Cirque du Soleil’s Avatar-based traveling show Toruk), the 12,000-square-foot exhibition comes stocked with life-sized creatures (including the soaring Banshees and vicious Viperwolf) and is set to open Dec. 7 in Taipei before embarking on a world tour.

It’s an often-mulled alternate ending to ‘Titanic’ - Rose helps freezing Jack up onto her bit of wood adrift in the icy North Atlantic, and they paddle off to happiness. Kate Winslet appears to be from this school of thought too. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she discussed the fame that the James Cameron movie has afforded her, as well as the climactic and heartbreaking final scene with her doomed co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
It was as inevitable as eating too much turkey on Christmas Day, and now ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ has passed the $1 billion mark. It took the J.J. Abrams film just 12 days to do so, beating the previous record - set by this year’s ‘Jurassic World’ - to become the fastest ever film to take a billion at the box office. While it’s hard to compare the popularity of the ‘Star Wars’ franchise to that of ‘Jurassic Park’s’ it’s perhaps more impressive that the space adventure has done it without having been released in China - a boost that aided ‘Jurassic World’s’ huge, quick success.
Tom Arnold has amassed over 150 movie and TV credits in his 30 year career, but it’s one of his first big screen roles that remains his most memorable. The 56-year-old actor got his big film break in the 1994 action flick True Lies, playing the comic sidekick to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s secret agent as they pursue the agent’s adventure-seeking wife (played by Jamie Lee Curtis). As Arnold told Yahoo Movies earlier this month, he owes it all to the film’s director, James Cameron.
