Shia LaBeouf’s ‘Man Down’ is a spectacular flop. According to The Guardian, the latest Shia LaBeouf flick managed a meagre £7 at the UK box office… but it might not be as bad as it sounds. “Signature’s theatrical distribution of Shia LaBeouf war movie Man Down may be fairly termed token – it opened on Friday in just one venue, concurrent with release on digital platforms,” they revealed.
DC’s ‘Suicide Squad’ may be under a week away, but it hasn’t stopped star Jai Courtney discussing the film’s surprise cameo. While speaking to Comicbook.com, Courtney, who plays Captain Boomerang in the David Ayer movie, was eager to talk about how one particular character fits into the movie and that he wasn’t even aware of his appearance until he saw the finished film. Courtney is of course referring to The Flash who features in ‘Suicide Squad’ when Boomerang was originally apprehended and imprisoned prior to being released under Nick Flag’s (Joel Kinnaman) command.
‘Suicide Squad’ actor Jai Courtney has described its director, David Ayer, as “psychotic”, but insists it’s in a positive way. A lot has been speculated about the production of ‘Suicide Squad’, especially since it was recently revealed that last-minute re-shoots were under way, but it seems the movie’s stars are more than happy working under Ayer.
