Super Bowl Sunday is approaching. What channel in Charlotte can you watch the big game?

Super Bowl LVI, annually the largest live television spectacle of the year, is just two weeks away.

Whether you’re hosting a watch party or just looking to catch the commercials, there are multiple ways to watch.

Here’s how to find the big game and what to expect from the broadcast.

What channel is the Super Bowl on this year in Charlotte?

Super Bowl broadcasts rotate among the major networks: Fox, NBC, CBS and ABC. This year, it’s NBC’s turn.

Charlotte’s NBC affiliate is WCNC. That’s channel 6 on Spectrum, channel 1036 on AT&T U-Verse, channel 36 on DISH Network and channel 36 on DIRECTV.

NBC is also available on some streaming TV providers, including YouTubeTV and HuluLive.

How to stream the Super Bowl

The game will also air live on NBC’s streaming service, Peacock. While some Peacock content is available for free, you’ll need a paid subscription to watch the Super Bowl. Plans start at $4.99 per month.

If your television provider’s lineup includes NBC, you can also stream the game live on the NBC Sports app by logging in with your TV credentials (the username and password you use to log into your account with your provider).

When does the Super Bowl start?

The Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 6, but pregame coverage, as well as continued coverage of the Winter Olympics, will start earlier.
