Stussy x Nike Air Penny 2 Receives Official Release Date

Longtime partners Stussy and Nike are returning with another collaboration, following up on their Air Max 2013 drop this year. Closing off 2022, the duo is releasing two colorways of the Air Max Penny 2 with accents influenced by the SoCal brand.

Images of the collaboration first surfaced in August with a "Black/White" makeup. The kicks are dressed in all-black with subtle hits of white on the Stussy logo stamped onto the laterals, while the Swoosh appears on the tongue, heel tab and footbed. Similar details are found on its counterpart in a "Green/Black" palette, with the upper half of the shoe dressed in a green suede material. Both sneakers are highlighted with groovy stitch detailing on the upper.

Originally released in 1996, the Nike Air Penny 2 is updated for the first time in 2016 with the upcoming Stussy partnership. The two colorways will launch via Stussy worldwide and select Chapter stores with a price tag of $200 USD. North America, Europe and the U.K. will see a release at 10 a.m. local time on December 16 while remaining regions such as South Korea and Japan will see a later launch at 10 a.m. local time on December 17.
