'Sturgeon' SuperMoon Captured Glowing Over Wales

Stunning timelapse footage captured the glowing Super Moon, known as the Sturgeon Moon, as it rose over south Wales on the evening of Thursday, August 11.

Footage posted to Twitter by user @GooRee, shot from Mumbles Head shows the supermoon rise over Swansea Bay in South Wales.

NASA said the moon would appear full for about three days, from Wednesday morning through Saturday morning. Credit: @GooRee via Storyful
