Strong Winds Whip Up Snow in Maryland During Winter Storm

Strong winds whipped up snow across parts of Maryland, on Monday, January 17, as a winter storm lashed the region.

This footage, filmed by Erick Kirchner, shows intense winds and snow pummelling Grantsville and Big Savage Mountain, in Garrett County.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a winter storm warning for the area, and cautioned motorists to remain vigilant while travelling.
