The dance star was one of many famous faces who took part in the BBC’s celebrity cooking contest last month.
However, Buswell was eliminated early on in the competition and recently received an emotional reminder of her experience on the show.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Buswell revealed the BBC culinary show has sent her a memento from her brief Celebrity MasterChef stint.
"I’ve just got home from a very long day and there was a parcel waiting for me," she explained. "So, of course I’ve opened it as quick as possible because I love a parcel.
"Love getting a parcel. But this parcel was a little bit… it kind of hurt. I mean, lovely but it really brought back some memories.
"This was what was in the parcel - my MasterChef apron!"
"I must have left so quickly when I was eliminated that I left my MasterChef apron there and they’ve only gone and sent it to me," the Strictly star continued. "So, thank you so much.
"It’s still got a couple of little stains on it I think from when I was cooking in it. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry."
It was ultimately opera singer Wynne Evans who was crowned 2023’s Celebrity MasterChef champion after impressing judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
After not faring too well on Celebrity MasterChef, Buswell’s hoping to instead see success on Strictly this year.
While she’s previously made it all the way to a Strictly final, Buswell is yet to have won a season. Could this finally be her year? Viewers will have to tune in to find out.
Celebrity MasterChef airs on BBC One.
