Strictly's Amy Dowden reunites with co-stars on set visit
Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden has shared some behind-the-scenes photos as she returned to the show's set over the weekend.
The dancer has been undergoing chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis, and has missed the start of this year's series as she continues treatment. Recently, she popped down to the Strictly studio to hang out with her fellow pros.
In an Instagram post, Dowden included photos of herself with Dianne Buswell, Nikita Kuzmin, Carlos Gu, Katya Jones, Vito Coppola, and Nancy Xu, as well as a big group photo.

"The standard this year is insane," she wrote. "What a great two live shows so far. I was lucky to be able to be there for tonight's opening number a few weeks back and all I can say is WOW! What another incredible number created by Jason Gilkison.
"It's moments like this I need right now, escaping me from my now at the moment reality and I'm so thankful to the entire @bbcstrictly [team] for this. Hoping to [be] back with the gang real soon.
"There's no text book or right/wrong way to deal with your cancer journey. Everyone deals with it rightly their way. I'm so lucky to be surrounded by so much support which I don’t take for granted and days like here is what keeps me going.
"I'm dreaming every night of dancing on that floor again but right now I'm my fellow pro's proudest and biggest cheerleader."

Dowden has been sharing the highs and lows of her cancer treatment journey with candour and in detail since her diagnosis earlier this year.
Recently, she uploaded a video of herself shaving her hair off, calling it a moment of her taking control after previously talking about how emotionally difficult she found her hair falling out.
Dowden also posted an Instagram reel, which she credited Buswell with the idea for, showing her dancing in her garden with loved ones and filmed both before and after she decided to shave her hair.
Her Strictly colleagues sent her messages of support during the launch show, and performed a routine dedicated to her. She's also featured in this year's opening credits.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday nights on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights from September 25 on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
