Stacey Dooley, documentary maker and Strictly Come Dancing winner, has announced a brand new project.

The TV star is following up her 2020 live shows with a brand new tour, titled In Conversation with Stacey Dooley and taking place in June.

The shows will expand on her book from last year and discuss young people's mental health, looking at the stigma surrounding it and how that impacts people's lives. Issues tackled in previous documentaries – poverty, social media pressure, addiction – will also be folded into the discussion, and see Stacey reflect on some of the biggest moments of her career.

In each 110 minute show, there will be a section where the audience gets to ask Stacey questions (as well as a 20 minute interval).

"I'm delighted to be going back out on the road!" Stacey said. "So much has happened since my last tour — professionally and personally. I honestly can't wait to see you all in person. What a treat!

"These brand-new live shows have completely fresh content, never seen before. I'll be sharing behind the scenes stories and clips from some of my more recent documentaries, as well as exploring Britain's mental health crisis based on the findings of my latest book, Are You Really OK?

"Come along solo, or with your pals... everyone is so, so welcome... we can have a proper chat about getting into TV and journalism, the book, and the new films. Really looking forward to it. All the love gang, see you there!"
