Getting ready for Sunday’s championship game? Celebrate with these Chiefs-themed foods

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the AFC Championship Game for a fourth consecutive season after a thrilling 42-36 victory over the Buffalo Bills in overtime on Sunday. Before their clash with the Cincinnati Bengals, get your viewing party right with these local football-themed foods.

Best Regards Bakery & Cafe

The Overland Park bakery will have Chiefs-themed ice sugar cookies for $3.49 each plus tax, while supplies last each day. They’re limiting the cookies to 12 per person for the first hour the bakery is open.

Betty Rae’s

The local ice cream shop brought back the ChiefsCake, made with Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s favorite ice cream—cream cheese. It’s available now at their Waldo and River Market locations.

Cake Loft LLC

The local bakery has vanilla and chocolate cupcakes topped with red or yellow buttercream on sale for $18. Send them a message on Facebook to order, as the price is only available until Wednesday.

These cupcakes will be available for pickup Sunday once you’ve placed an order. You’ll get information on where to pick it up once the order is placed.

Donutolgy

The Westport donut shop has Chiefs’ mini donuts and an assorted dozen of Chiefs-themed donuts available for pre-order for Sunday’s game. If you order these, you must pick them up in-store and they must be ordered by 5 p.m. on Saturday to be ready by Sunday.

HomeGrown Kansas City

The eatery has the “Big Red” latte while supplies last. Made with Shatto Milk Company’s Red Velvet milk, this latte is perfect for a magical playoff run.

You can find the latte at their Brookside location on 338 W. 63rd St.

KC Pretzel Boys

Get yourself a football-shaped pretzel or smaller pretzels that spell out “Go Chiefs” made from scratch for the big football game. The special pretzel designs have to be ordered two days in advance, and you can do that here or by calling 913-831-8955.

KC Pretzel Boys is located on 9559 Nall Ave. in Overland Park.

Meshuggah Bagels

The New York-style bagel shop will offer naturally-dyed red and yellow bagels again, while supplies last. They’re closed Monday, so you’ll have to wait another day to get your hands on these.

Meshuggah Bagels has three locations in Midtown, Power & Light and Overland Park.

Minsky’s Pizza

Travis Kelce’s creation, The Kelceroni, is back for a third straight year. It’s layered with Minsky’s classic pepperoni, Genoa salami, and Minsky’s cupping and charring pepperoni. They’ll donate to Kelce’s 87 and Running Foundation, which helps disadvantaged youth by providing resources and support, for each Kelceroni ordered.

Plowboys Barbeque

It’s the final “Red FryDay” for Plowboys Barbeque and they’re giving out a free side of fries for dine-in customers who purchase a sandwich. The offer is eligible at both Blue Springs and downtown Kansas City locations.

Somerset Vineyard & Winery

It’s a 48-minute drive to Paola, but the reward is the Lucky 15 Cocktail Kit, which includes Somerset Ridge’s award-winning Lucky Dog hard cider and house-made cranberry wine syrup. It costs $35.99 and it’s available to order online or at their tasting room from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. from Wednesday through Saturday.
