Stars Show Support For Leslie Jones After Nude Photo Hack

Hollywood has rallied behind Leslie Jones after hackers published explicit photos of her on her website, as well as other personal information.

Her ‘Ghostbusters’ director Paul Fieg called it ‘an absolute outrage’, with the likes of Katy Perry, comedian Patton Oswalt, Lena Dunham, Questlove, Patricia Arquette, and Octavia Spencer all tweeting support.

Jones had suffered racist abuse on the social network in recent weeks, and called for Twitter to do something about it.

She left Twitter earlier this month over receiving the abuse and being sent pornography, but returned during the Olympics.

It’s thought that her iCloud account was compromised yesterday, with nude pictures, copies of her passport and driving licence being stolen and published, as well as personal pictures of her with Rihanna, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

A picture of Harambe, the gorilla which was shot dead at Cincinnati Zoo in May, was also posted in what appeared to be a racial slur.

One theory is that the hack was in retaliation over the banning of right-wing writer Milo Yiannopoulos from Twitter last month.

Yiannopoulos, a tech writer for Breitbart, who had targeted Jones and countless others with abuse, had his account permanently suspended.
