Spider-Man 4 gets exciting update from Marvel boss Kevin Feige
Marvel Cinematic Universe boss Kevin Feige has given fans a promising update regarding the fourth Tom Holland Spider-Man film.
No Way Home, released in 2021, left the superhero's future open-ended, but we've not really heard much about a follow-up.
In a new interview with io9, Feige revealed that progress is being made, although it's still in the early days with things moving quite slowly.

"Amy [Pascal] and I are working on it. We have writers who are going to be delivering us a draft relatively soon," he said.
In another interview, this time with CinemaBlend, Feige stated that the fourth film might have had to have a new director, as opposed to Jon Watts, who handled the trilogy.
"We love Jon," Feige added. "Jon did three of the best Spider-Man films ever for us. He's got lots of things going on now. So we'll probably be looking for somebody else, just because he's busy."

Next up for Marvel Studios is Deadpool & Wolverine, which continues the introduction of the X-Men to the MCU. Feige explained that they will follow the Spider-Man blueprint going forward.
"I think as we always try to do, as we did when we made the arrangement with Sony for Spider-Man, you'll probably see a mix of characters you've seen before and characters you've never seen before," he said.
Back in April, Holland said that he would be open to doing more Spider-Man films.
"I'll always want to do more," he told Deadline. "We have the best in the business working toward whatever the story might be. But until we've cracked it, we have a legacy to protect."
Spider-Man 4 does not currently have a release date.
