Yahoo Movies Sonic Is Selling An Ice Cream Sundae With A Huge Scoop Of Oreo Cookie Dough On Top
Getting an ice cream treat with cookie dough is like an activity in and of itself. You have to dig and dig to find those delicious little pieces and the ice cream really becomes secondary. Sorry, ice cream! But Sonic has a solution and it comes in the form of a scoop of Oreo cookie dough on the top of its ice cream treats.
The chain announced two new treats this week that have to be seen to be believed: The Oreo Big Scoop Cookie Dough Sundae and Blast. The first is made with an ice cream base that's swirled with hot fudge and layered with edible cookie dough bites and Oreo cookie pieces. As if that wasn't enough cookie dough, Sonic also tops it off with a big scoop of edible cookie dough that’s also filled with Oreo pieces and chocolate chips.
The Oreo Big Scoop Cookie Dough Blast is made with ice cream that's blended with edible cookie dough bites and Oreo cookie pieces, and, yes, it is also topped with even more cookie dough bites, Oreo pieces, AND a big scoop of edible cookie dough as well. It's a lot!! But I think you can handle it...I know I certainly can!
Like all good things, these ones will eventually comes to an end. But the good news is they will be available for a long limited-time (does that make sense??). Basically, you can pick both up at your local participating Sonic through May 2 while supplies last. YAY!!!
