Mohamed Salah scored late on the final day of the Premier League to share the 2021-22 Golden Boot with Heung-min Son.

The Tottenham forward has ended the campaign in rapid form before taking on already-relegated Norwich on Sunday, needing only a point to secure fourth-place.

Spurs put themselves three up at Carrow Road before Son got on the scoresheet, finishing off a lay-off from Lucas Moura to go level on 22 goals with Salah.

And Son briefly held the lead in the Golden Boot race with a stunning effort from outside the box to round off a great day for Tottenham in East Anglia.

Salah went into Liverpool’s final-day clash at home to Wolves needing to win and have Manchester City drop points to claim the title, although both teams fell behind.

City sparked a mega comeback at the Etihad Stadium before the Egyptian came off the bench, having only just come back from a groin problem. With only minutes left of the season, he poked home a goalmouth scramble from a corner to match Son’s 23-goal tally.

And the spoils were shared with the trophy going to both players, regardless of their assist tally or number of games played.
