Including lumbar pillows, stone vases, handwoven rugs, and even her cozy cardigan.
I’ve always been intrigued with peeking inside other people’s homes—with permission, of course. I love to get inspired by their style, decor, design, and layout, but rarely do we get that kind of access into celebrity homes. Hilary Duff, however, recently gave us a snippet of her ultra-comfortable workspace (which to me, is giving living room vibes), revealing simple, modern, and laidback neutral furniture and decor courtesy of an editor-loved fashion and home brand, and we’re spilling all the details.
In a recent Instagram post, California-based brand Jenni Kayne and the actress shared a collaboration for Duff’s home, and it’s filled with earthy, woodsy finds that can easily blend into any home. And right now, you can shop her Jenni Kayne-designed furniture, decor, and even fall clothes like the Cable Cardigan for 15 percent off with code JKAYNE15. While Jenni Kayne Home incorporated some of its more high-ticket furniture picks into Duff’s space, like the Harbor Sectional in charcoal linen and Bay Coffee Table in walnut, I’m eyeing the everyday decor that can add a luxe touch to a living space.
Jenni Kayne Luna Lumbar Pillow
The first detail that immediately caught my eye (aside from the brand’s comfortable sectional), was the display of handwoven pillows that added texture and cozy vibes to the sofa. Duff opted for the square-shaped Luna Pillow in ash and Luna Lumbar pillow in ivory, which contrasted with her charcoal-colored couch. The pillows are made with soft 100 percent raw cotton, and since they’re handmade, no two pillows are the exact same. The lumbar pillow is available in a few sizes, including a 17-inch by 42-inch size and a large 16-inch by 55-inch option, while the regular square pillow is 22 inches. One shopper shared that the pillow’s “fill is perfect,” and added that it’s “soft and comfortable but keeps its shape well.” Like Duff, you can mix and match colors to add interest to a solid-colored couch or chair.
Rachel Carter Ceramics Small Open Vase
Sitting on top of Duff’s new Jenni Kayne Bay Coffee Table in walnut is this stoneware clay vase from Rachel Carter Ceramics. The simple, practical piece can be placed on tabletops, shelves, and other flat surfaces to display greenery, and its neutral tone will easily blend with existing decor. It has a matte glaze finish, and like the pillows, will also be uniquely yours thanks to its handmade design. While non-Jenni Kayne brands aren’t eligible for the discounted code, I’m still eyeing this find because of its timeless design.
Jenni Kayne Lodge Handwoven Rug
Anyone who knows me is aware of my love for a modern rug to help warm up and define a space. The Lodge Handwoven Rug placed under Duff’s sectional and coffee table does just that, and it’s available in four sizes ranging from 2 feet by 3 feet to 9 feet by 12 feet. The rug is available in gray—the color that was used in Hilary Duff’s room—and walnut. It’s made of thick woven yarn and a low pile that offers clean lines for the area you place it in, plus it’s soft on your feet.
Jenni Kayne Cable Cardigan
Along with Hilary Duff’s workspace, I’m copying her casual look. Crisp fall weather is in the air, which means cardigan season is here for the foreseeable future. Duff’s Cable Cardigan in dark camel offers a chunky, oversized fit to go with her decor’s relaxed aesthetic, and it’s made with 100 percent cotton for a soft and luxurious feel. It’s the ideal layering piece, really, and one shopper said it’s “cozy and just the right bit slouchy.” Reviewers recommend sizing down if you prefer a more fitted look.
Jenni Kayne Vintage Pocket Tee
While Jenni Kayne’s Vintage Pocket Tee wasn’t tagged in the brand’s Instagram post, I scoured the site to nail down the simple style, and its resemblance is so close I’m declaring this to be her exact look. Everyone needs a staple T-shirt in their closet, and this one, available in five colors, is “the most luxurious tee” one shopper has ever worn. It’s “flattering and oh so soft,” so the person “purchased three more.” The shirt is made of 100 percent cotton and has a relaxed fit that can be tucked in or worn loose. The sleeves provide good coverage on your arms to wear during the early fall months, or you can layer it under a cardigan for an effortless autumnal style. Duff wore the shirt tucked into jeans and topped off with the Leather Lake Sandal in saddle.
Jenni Kayne’s home and fashion collections are the simple yet luxe neutrals that capture fall, so grab Duff’s new favorites before they start selling out.
