Snowfall season 5 has welcomed Devyn Tyler onto the crime drama's cast.
According to Deadline, the Clarice actress is onboard as newcomer Veronique, described as "smart, ambitious, with a worldly sophistication but also appreciates the small things and not completely defined by her drive.
"She has a law degree and a killer instinct, while remaining a genuinely good, honest human being with warmth and compassion."
As well as the aforementioned CBS psychological horror, Tyler's other notable credits include Amazon Prime Video's The Underground Railroad, HBO's one-season wonder Watchmen and Fear the Walking Dead.
Elsewhere on the Snowfall front, Franklin Saint actor Damson Idris previously opened up about season 4's finale, which saw his character finally give up the cane he'd been relying on since Melody shot him.
"That Keyser Soze moment was really special," he reflected, suggesting that this scene in particular reminded him of 1995 classic The Usual Suspects. "The biggest thing for viewers was, 'When are we going to get back to Franklin being well?'
"He's so vulnerable. It created a great sense of tension. And Franklin knew that, too. To get to that final moment with Melody, it's almost as if the job was done.
"He doesn't need anyone to see him as being vulnerable anymore," Idris went on to elaborate.
"He doesn't need to be 10 steps ahead anymore. Now he can just focus on the business. He realises in that moment that he's come full circle. That's why it was special putting down that cane."
Snowfall airs on FX in the US.
