Snow Falls as River Overflows in Manchester

Snow was seen falling in Manchester on the night of January 20 amid flood warnings across parts of the country in the wake of Storm Christoph.

Four severe flood warnings were in place on January 21, posing a potential danger to life, forecasters said.

Local media reported hundreds of people were evacuated from their homes. The UK’s flood information service said that those evacuating were permitted to stay with family or friends and would not be in breach of coronavirus regulations.
