Snickers Has New Brownie Bites That Are Stuffed With Almonds And Caramel

At the end of 2020, Mars, Incorporated released the Snickers Peanut Brownie Squares that takes the chocolatey goodness up a notch. Shortly after, the candy was launched in an ice cream version for a frozen snack. Now there’s another Snickers brownie creation, but this time, it has swapped the peanuts for almonds.

The new Snickers Almond Brownie Squares are hitting shelves in August 2021. The candy consists of a chewy brownie filling that’s mixed with chopped almonds and topped with a layer of caramel, and complete by being covered in dark chocolate. It should be interesting to see how these bites compare to the original ones with peanuts.

“After seeing unparalleled excitement for the Snickers Peanut Brownie and Snickers Peanut Brownie Ice Cream launches, we’re excited to deliver on our purpose of better moments and more smiles by unveiling a delicious variation of the bar for our fans,” Michelle Deignan, Mars Wrigley senior brand director, said in a press release. “The new Snickers Almond Brownie offers a deeply satisfying treat, with a taste and texture only Snickers can deliver on.”

You’ll be able to get the Snickers Almond Brownie at stores nationwide this summer. They’ll be in Single (1.26 ounces), Share (2.52 ounces), and Sharing Stand Up Pouch (6.93 ounces) sizes. We can’t help but think this brownie trend is going to continue to be a thing with Snickers. In 2019, they released a pecan bar, so maybe that’ll be the next nut to take on the chocolatey goodness.
