Snoop Dogg is known for smoking weed just about anywhere, but especially at his concerts and regardless of the rules.

If you’re inclined to bring your own supply to his upcoming show in Sacramento to smoke alongside the artist, it could end differently for you. The iconic rapper will bring his “High School Reunion Tour” to the Golden 1 Center on Friday; featuring artists Wiz Khalifa, Too $hort, Warren G, Berner and Dj Drama.

Even though recreational cannabis is legal in California, smoking weed in public is not.

The Golden 1 Center is a “smoke-free building,” according to its website. If you’re caught smoking where tobacco is prohibited like the downtown arena, you could be fined up to $250.

The Golden 1 Center’s public relations department wasn’t immediately available for comment.

Can I smoke weed at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento?

Weed is not listed under prohibited items. The center prohibits only illegal substances, illegal drugs and alcohol.

However, smoking is not allowed within 250 feet of the building and those who leave to do so will not be allowed back inside, according to the Golden 1 Center. The rules extend to the following methods:

  • Cigarettes

  • Pipes

  • Cigars

  • Finely ground tobacco or snuff

  • Smokeless tobacco

  • Electronic cigarettes

  • Vapes
