Will Smith lines up Bad Boys reunion for Netflix movie
Will Smith has lined up a Bad Boys reunion for a new Netflix film.
Nearly 30 years after the release of the hit action comedy, its director Michael Bay is on board to helm Smith's new action flick Fast and Loose (via Deadline).
"Fast and Loose follows a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no memories," reads the official synopsis for the film.
"As he pieces together his past, he learns he's been living two lives: one as a crime kingpin and the other as an undercover CIA agent."

Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Chris Bremner and Eric Pearson have penned the script from the Hoeber brothers' original screenplay.
As well as starring, Smith will also produce the film alongside Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Jon Mone, Ryan Shimazaki and his former manager James Lassiter – who also co-founded a production company with the actor.
Executive producers include Robert Simonds, Noah Fogelson and Barry Waldman.
Bay notably directed the first two films in the Bad Boys franchise, which were released in 1995 and 2003. He also directed the first five Transformers movies, as well as The Rock, Pearl Harbor and The Island.

Smith reprised his role as Mike Lowrey in the fourth Bad Boys film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, earlier this year. It has grossed more than $220 million worldwide and has taken the entire series past the $1 billion mark at the global box office.
The actor has since landed a role in upcoming sci-fi thriller Resistor, which tells the story of a physicist who discovers a device that can reflect gravity.
Last month, it was announced that Smith had reportedly quit his role in new action movie Sugar Bandits due to scheduling conflicts.
Directed by Stefano Sollima, the film focuses on a former Special Forces soldier who joins a vigilante squad in an effort to wipe out the drug trade in Boston.
Fast and Loose doesn't have a release date yet. Bad Boys: Ride or Die is streaming on Netflix in the US.
