A Simple Favour 2 has received an exciting update from director Paul Feig.
The sequel for the crime thriller was announced back in 2022, with Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively reprising their lead roles.
"Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square," teased the description.

Information regarding the release date has been kept quiet, however, director Feig has now revealed that the wait is almost over.
"I'm not sure. I know it won't come out till next year, but the question is, is it gonna come out early in the year or the middle of the year? I'm not sure," he told The Hollywood Handle.
"So right around then, we'll probably put out a trailer and all that or a teaser or something. So I would say early next year, you'll probably get a little more details."

Discussing what the as-yet-untitled movie will be called, Feig didn't rule out the title Another Simple Favour, though he remained coy.
"We're debating that right now. It's interesting you ask. I'll let you know soon," Feig hinted.
The sequel is set to premiere on Amazon's Prime Video streaming service. It will see the return of Aparna Nancherla (Sona), Henry Golding (Sean), Andrew Rannells (Darren), Bashir Salahuddin (Detective Summerville), Joshua Satine (Miles), Ian Ho (Nicky) and Kelly McCormack (Stacy).
Meanwhile, new additions to the cast include Elena Sofia Ricci, Michele Morrone, Elizabeth Perkins, Alex Newell, Taylor Ortega and Lorenzo de Moor.
A Simple Favour 2 will stream on Prime Video in 2025.
