Shawn Johnson East reveals baby boy's name: 'We are still over the moon'

Shawn Johnson East is flying high after welcoming a baby boy.

The Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast welcomed her second child with husband Andrew East on July 19 and now they are sharing their baby's hip name: Jett James East.

Johnson East, 29, revealed her son's moniker Friday on the family's YouTube channel, The East Family, where she's has documented her entire pregnancy with not only Jett, but also the couple's daughter Drew, who turns 2 in October.

"We are still over the moon that little man is finally with us. We’re in heaven," Johnson East captioned the video. "We’re so thankful we get to share this journey with you. Thank you for the (continued) prayers, we so appreciate them!"

The video shows Johnson East and East, who tied the knot in April 2016, "introducing little man to family friends" in the delivery room and the parents bringing him home from the hospital.

But viewers didn't get to see one important introduction that's sure to be emotional: "Stay tuned for next weeks episode where Drew finally gets to meet her little brother… bring the tissues."

Johnson East gave birth via Caesarean section to Jett James, who weighed 9lbs 13oz. "Welcome to the world little man! We love you so much!" she wrote.

East added, "I have never known a love like this."

During her pregnancy, the gold medal winner in the 2008 Olympic games tested positive for COVID-19, experiencing "a cough, terrible sore throat and headache" and fatigue, but successfully recovered.
