The Talk came back for its 11th season on Monday, September 21st, but one of the hosts showed up with some sad news. As reported by People, Sharon Osbourne announced on the talk show that one of Jack Osbourne’s daughters has coronavirus (COVID-19). Jack’s youngest daughter, Minnnie, tested positive for COVID-19, but according to Sharon, her granddaughter is doing well.

“I was meant to be in the studio. I was so looking forward to it," Sharon told co-hosts Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Sheryl Underwood.

"And then, unfortunately, one of my granddaughters has come down with COVID."

"She’s okay, she’s doing good," Sharon continued. "I don't have it. Her daddy doesn’t have it. Her mommy doesn’t have it. Her sisters don't. She caught it from somebody who works for my son." Still, Sharon was required to work from home and self-isolate, even though she has tested negative. “One more week left of quarantining and then I'm out,” she said.

Sharon added that this “just goes to show you, she’s 3 years of age, that children can get COVID.”

In fact, Minnie isn’t even quite 3 yet — she turned 2 back in February.

Jack shares Minnie and two other daughters—5-year-old Andy and 8-year-old Pearl—with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly. Neither parent has commented on Minnie’s diagnosis publicly, although they do both share regularly about their children on social media. Jack recently posted a photo showing his two other daughters ready for their first day back at school.

Best of luck to Minnie and her family during her recovery.
