Seth Rogen Opened Up About Not Wanting Children

More often than not, celebrities open up about wanting to start families and express excitement about welcoming new arrivals to their A-list families, but Seth Rogen opened up about the complete opposite during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. He spoke with Stern about the decision to not have children, saying that he and his wife are happy without a family and that he's been able to take on more projects because he didn't have to worry about parenting.

"I wouldn't be able to do all this work that I like," he said. "People are always like — it's something I think I was uncomfortable answering this before — but they were like, 'How do you do so much?' The answer is I don't have kids. ... I have nothing else to do."

Rogen even had an answer for anyone thinking that he was keeping his wife, Lauren Miller, from having a family, he told Stern that she's on board with his decision. So on board, he said, that he could never convince her otherwise.

"I would say she wants kids less than I do," he added. "I could probably be talked into it; she's like no."

When Stern spoke about his own experience being a parent (he has three children), it only affirmed Rogen's views on the matter.

"You can't be narcissistic, you have to give yourself over to parenting, and they've gotta become the priority," Stern said.

"Yeah, like, I don't want that. That does not sound fun to me. And why?" Rogen responded. "There's enough kids out there. We need more people? Who looks at the planet right now and thinks 'You know what we need right now? More fucking people.' That's truly a confounding thing to me."
