Semi-truck bursts into flames, dangles from interstate bridge, California photos show

A semi-truck collided with a bridge wall and burst into flames, California police said.

The California Highway Patrol in Truckee said the driver was on I-80 eastbound Sunday near Floriston when it caught fire.

The truck was dangling from the interstate bridge while on fire, photos posted by police showed.

“Just when you think you have seen it all at Floriston,” authorities said on Twitter. “Sometimes there aren’t even words. It’s amazing no one got hurt!”

Authorities extinguished the fire, and all lanes of the interstate reopened, according to KRNV.

Police didn’t say what caused the driver to slam into the bridge wall.

Floriston is about 20 miles southwest of Reno.
