The singer appears onstage alongside Nellie Mainor, a 7-year-old struggling with a rare kidney disease. Mainor provides kids in the hospital struggling with kidney disease with toys and get-well cards. Gomez, of course, revealed in September that she had undergone a kidney transplant. The two shared a sweet encounter that included Gomez asking Mainor, “Do you know how much I admire you?”

2. John Stamos gets emotional about his son, Billy.

The Full House star, who became a father on April 10, shared a heartwarming moment with the crowd of young people making the world a better place. “When I look at you today, I am in awe,” Stamos said. “The compassion and the love and every value that you have … I feel so hopeful for my son.”

Just one week after surviving a car crash, Will Ferrell, the former Saturday Night Live star, made his first public appearance at WE Day. The comedian, whose famous for his impression of former President George W. Bush, quizzed an expert on the U.S. presidents, 8-year-old Macey Hensley. Ferrell also asked if he could be her secretary of “curly haired people” if she was ever elected to the office.

4. Jennifer Aniston honors March for Our Lives organizers.
