See Viggo Mortensen's Charming, Oddball Family Perfectly Summed Up in One Funny 'Captain Fantastic' Clip

We love movie trailers as much as the next guy. But we all know some of them can give too much away.

Occasionally, though, a movie clip can perfectly encapsulate the vibe of a movie — and since it’s only one scene, hardly gives anything away.

Such is the case with this exclusive clip from the buzzy Captain Fantastic (watch above). The film stars Viggo Mortensen as father of six who has raised his kids in the remote and rugged wilderness of Oregon before circumstances lead them back into “civilization.”

Captain Fantastic premiered to cheers at the Sundance Film Festival and recently earned a 10-minute standing ovation at Cannes. The film is written and directed by Matt Ross and also features Frank Langella, Kathryn Hahn, and Steve Zahn. It opens July 8.
