See 'Taken' Taken to Task in 'Tooken' Trailer

Liam Neeson and his massively successful Taken franchise have just been put on notice. Witness the exclusive first trailer for Tooken, a parody film that turns Neeson’s well-worn role as the ex-CIA agent into a punchline. Or, more precisely, lots of punchlines.

Tooken follows Lee Tergesen’s take on the Bryan Mills character (here called Bryan Millers) as he moves from ex-intelligence officer to Prius-driving mall cop… to family-saving action hero. Tergesen, known for his character acting on Oz and The Americans, is joined in the spoof by the likes of Jenny McCarthy, Donnie Wahlberg, Margaret Cho, Lukas Haas, and rapper Akon.

The gag-a-second trailer features a farting Chihuahua, a dad who’s overly aware of his daughter’s sex life, and, of course, purposefully egregious spelling and grammar: Now they’re tooken everything.

Tooken arrives on Digital HD May 26 and on DVD July 7.
