The pair tied the knot in a super-intimate ceremony on March 25 at her family zoo in Australia
Despite the "difficult decision" not to have guests at their wedding amid the coronavirus pandemic, the couple went ahead with their nuptials at the Australia Zoo on March 25.
"We held a small ceremony and I married my best friend," the Animal Planet star announced on Instagram. "There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now. We’ve planned this beautiful day for nearly a year and had to change everything, as we didn’t have guests at our wedding."
The couple, who got engaged on Bindi's 21st birthday last July after six years of dating, shared that they are focusing on the bright side of things, noting, "We wish all of our friends and family could have been there with us, however it’s lovely that we will be able to share photos and videos." Bindi continued, "Right now we’re encouraging the world to hold onto hope and love, which will carry us forward during this profound time in history."
