A tight-knit Scotland squad are today busy preparing for their Euro 2020 opener against Czech Republic after captain Andy Robertson welcomed his team-mates to their Euros base with a Scottish-themed gift pack.

The Liverpool defender arranged the package off his own back to help his team-mates settle in to their camp at Rockliffe Hall, near Darlington, which lies adjacent to Middlesbrough’s training facilities.

Gifts included Scottish food and drinks as well as electrical equipment and video games - and striker Kevin Nisbet says the gesture had brought the squad even closer together.

Robertson will be hoping that the welcome pack does the trick as they seek to get off to a winning start in a tight Group D which also feastures England and Croatia.
