Kevin Can F**k Himself is set to end with its second season, TV Line has confirmed.

Starring Annie Murphy, who's best known for playing Alexis Rose in hit series Schitt's Creek, the show centres on Allison McRoberts, an archetypal housewife who allows herself to really cut loose whenever she's away from her husband Kevin (Eric Peterson).

Alternating between multi-camera sitcom and single-camera drama, Kevin Can F**k Himself's first outing – which was created by Valerie Armstrong and executive produced by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack – was praised for breaking television convention, its searing social commentary and Murphy's fierce performance.

Just this week, Hulu also announced that PEN15, which blends tones just like Kevin Can F**k Himself, will be concluding with its second instalment. It's worth noting, however, that that was a decision made by its creators Maya Erskine, Anna Konkle and Sam Zvibleman, rather than the broadcaster.

Murphy will soon be seen starring opposite Orange is the New Black's Natasha Lyonne in Russian Doll's second season.

Kevin Can F**k Himself is available to stream in the UK on Amazon Prime Video now. Schitt's Creek can be watched via Netflix.
