SC Palmetto Champions football team released. See which players, coaches made list

The 2021 S.C. Football Coaches Association’s annual Palmetto Champions team was announced on Tuesday.

Twenty-six players and 10 coaches were picked for the Palmetto Champions all-star team. Because of COVID-19, the annual banquet was canceled.

The team included back, lineman, specialist and coach of the year for each classification. The team also included the overall back, lineman, specialist and coach of the year.

Class 5A

Upper State Back: Tyler Smith, Gaffney

Upper State Lineman: Ky Tayo, Spring Valley

Upper State Coach of Year: Dan Jones, Gaffney

Lower State Back: Antonio Williams, Dutch Fork

Lower State Lineman: Devin Geddis, Fort Dorchester

Lower State Coach of Year: Perry Woolbright, Lexington

Specialist of Year: Kanoah Vincent, Northwestern
